Post sweat, mid-sweat, or no sweat— Rally's Dry Run Pale Ale is brewed with Citra, Centennial, and Azacca hops. Crafted to be super crushable, packed with electrolytes, and perfectly primed for every occasion.
Always a mix of excitement and trepidation when trying a new af brew. Glad to report that this is a tasty one. Pours a beautiful rich straw colour, slightly opague. Nice full and soft head, though pretty quick to dissipate. Tart and crisp on the nose. Taste wise, a pretty classic American style pale: clean malt, medium body, crisp and present but not overwhelming hop bite. The oat an=d wheat in the malt bill fill the middle notes in nicely. It's chilly here today, these just came in the mail, but I'm looking forward to trying these on the weekend when we're slated to go back to mid 30 degree c temps. Pretty sure these will be a great hot day 'crushable' brew.
I'm the founder of Rally, so I wanted to call that as a biased review....BUT, this non-alc beer surpassed my wildest expectations. We wanted to brew this beer to really scratch that itch of an alcoholic beer PLUS pack it with electrolytes. I think we have done that & more as this beer has real body to it and a great mouthfeel from the oats we add in the process. The bitterness is perfect for my liking, in balance and a clean finish, but slightly lingering in a way that keeps me going back for more. It's time to Rally!
