One For The Road's Stout is deliciously bold, brewed with generous amounts of dark malts with additions of rich Honduras espresso. The espresso lends a smooth and roasted flavour to an already full flavoured beer style and does not disappoint. Perfect for any coffee break, this beer can also be enjoyed with breakfast, lunch or dinner. Some suggestions for pairings include pork tenderloin, aged semi-hard cheeses, and vanilla ice cream.
Although commonly considered a beer for the fall or winter months, this Espresso Stout is sure to be enjoyed all year round and during any coffee break!
A little kick from Espresso
One for the Road makes a few good AF beers, and they’re a bit more available in our area than other AF beers. As a Guinness drinker, I’m predisposed to stouts when choosing AF. This one is good, and with noticeable coffee taste. Perhaps not as rich a flavour as some AF stouts but still on my “regular” list.
Coffee stout is delicious
Delicious espresso stout with a good mouthfeel. One of my favourites!
One for the road
I just purchased the espresso stout By one for the road brewing. It was amazing! It reminds me of a stout I used to drink on the big Island of Hawaii, by kona brewing. I’ve been looking for something like this in a non-alcoholic form for a while now. Highly recommend!
Nice dark with a coffee backbone
This is more like a porter than a stout, but it's delicious regardless. Doesn't have a 'stout' type body, but there is still a surprisingly good mouth feel, especially considering that it's only 27 calories for a 500ml can. The coffee notes hit more on the aftertaste, leaving a satisfying lingering bitterness.
This is a very delicious stout. It has a strong espresso flavour, and is very smooth ! Not a huge fan of the name though, but it did get a few laughs when with some friends drinking beer. 'So ... I see you're Still Struggling ?' Nope. Not really. : ) (I know, the horse, etc.... )
